These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of KatBill, including our website, Android application, web dashboard, APIs and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
KatBill provides cloud-based GST billing, inventory, accounting and business management tools for Indian shops and SMEs. Features may vary between Free and paid plans. We may add, modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in India.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate business and contact information and keep it updated.
Paid plans (such as Monthly) are billed in advance for the selected billing period. Prices are shown on our website and may change for future billing cycles with notice. Taxes (including GST) are additional unless stated otherwise. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of paid features.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, scrape or overload our systems.
- Upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
- Misrepresent tax or legal filings made using exported data from KatBill.
You retain ownership of business data you enter into KatBill. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that data solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for reviewing invoices, returns and reports before filing with tax authorities. KatBill is a software tool and does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice.
KatBill, its logo, software, design and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability and jurisdiction) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law & jurisdiction: These policies are governed by the laws of India. All disputes, claims and matters arising out of or relating to KatBill, our website, mobile application, subscriptions or these policies shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India only.
